WOOD ENGRAVING
Wood engraving is a graphic technique, the image of which is carved into wood and then printed on paper. But mine are different. The woodcuts I create differ from the traditional graphic printing technique from a height in the material itself and its output. In a classic woodcut, an image engraved in a thick piece of wood is painted with printing ink and then printed on paper, creating its final form in the form of a graphic in several prints. The picture that I draw and then carve into a thin wood fiber board of larger dimensions is the only and final result of my work.
